AVAGEL

Multi-purpose flexible adhesive gel for bonding, even under extreme conditions, all types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain tiles, natural and artificial stone, ceramic glass) on any substrates, even critical ones.

AVAGELThe next generation standard-setting-gel-adhesive.
Its thixotropic and fluid mix ensures 100% coverage without beating and no back-buttering.

  • Unique workability: AVAGEL is easy to apply and holds its shape supporting the weight of heavy tiles.
  • Thixotropic & Fluid: AVAGEL can be mixed to thixotropic (with 7L of H2O) and fluid (with 8L of H2O) consistencies; thanks to its variable rheology, total wettability is guaranteed throughout.
  • Multi-purpose: Performs outstandingly with all materials and substrates, making it adhesive for all situations.
  • Superior performance: The adhesion performance of AVAGEL has been subjected to strict testing and is formulated to perform in actual on site conditions.

Quick Reference Guide

Preparation Instructions:
  • Ensure substrates are clean, dry, solid, and free from loose particles.
  • Highly absorbent substrates require pre-treatment with AVAGRUND primer.
  • Cement-based substrates should cure for at least 28 days.
Mixing Ratios:
  • General application: 7.5 liters of water per 25 kg bag.
  • Thin-bed application (fluid consistency): 8 liters per 25 kg bag.
  • Thick-bed or vertical application (thixotropic): 7 liters per 25 kg bag.
Application Recommendations:
  • Ideal thickness range: 2 mm to 15 mm.
  • Ensure full contact between tiles and substrate; apply directly to the back of large (>60 cm) or thin tiles (3-5 mm).
  • Expansion joints recommended every 10 m² outdoors, 25 m² indoors, and every 4 m in narrow spaces.
Consumption:
  • Approximately 1.5 kg/m² per mm thickness.
Suitable Substrates & Materials:
  • Tiles: Porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, marble, glass, and more.
  • Substrates: Cement screeds, existing tiles, concrete, plasterboard, wood, metal, PVC.
Storage:
  • 12 months shelf-life when unopened, stored in dry condition
